My "mix play" set is about commercial house music and remixes of 80s-2000s songs. Making pop songs to sound more house/trance and taking hits from yesteryears to sound more appealing to the young minds. And apparently I have many friends who still enjoy listening to Alphaville, Bon Jovi, Debbie Gibson, Duran Duran, Madonna, Modern Talking, Roxette, Simply Red and more of these.

Interesting, some of my most heard remixes are of "mix play" sets. But the last time I've done a set of this was back in December last year. The reason I'm back with a new set is I wanted something different, and so "mix play v05" is quite electro on the edge. This new set is so tense and electrifying. I've seen the younger crowd going nuts and tryingto figure out the songs. My friends who grew up with the original songs are usually surprised with the powerful tunes. My fav in this set has to be Evanescence's Bring Me To Life (DJ Toxa Electro Mix 2010). My friend DJmike said this is "da killer shite!!!"
