Nicki French - Total Eclipse Of The Heart (DKool 10MinMix)

British dance singer Nicki French performed her cover version of Bonnie Tyler's 'Total Eclipse of the Heart' which was one of the bestselling singles of the mid 90s. This 10mins mix brings four remixes of Nicki French's version. The first two remixes were done in 1995, DJ Diva's high energy edition in 2006 and the last one in this mix, a tribal rework, was created in 2009.

This 10mins mix is compiled and mixed by DKool.

Linkin Park 10MinMix

This is a 10 minutes compilation of three remixes on Linkin Park hits. These are some of the best remixes I've heard of their songs. I prefer the electro beats as these make this set more danceable and bit more head-nodding.

Tracklist:
1. New Divide (Mr Bud and Sebirouth Electro Mix)
2. Numb (Heatbeat Bootleg)
3. In The End (BLV Remix)

Rank 1 - Airwave (Aaron Static 2009 Remix)

This is a superb remix of a great trance classic Airwave by Rank 1. Very beautiful start and Aaron continued with wonderful beats all the way. My only regret was not been able to fit this tune into my recent Playing High 2009 set.

Do check out Aaron Static; he has some cool tunes in his sites, and is also making this tune here downloadable for us. YEAH !!!

preview video of playing high 2009

I was reading how people were disappointed with the result of the Cophenhagen Climate Summit. I just want us to continue to work towards the goal to save this planet. Every small bit of work, from everyone, will raise the awareness and help the cause...

"The Cophenhagen Accord is weak. But the Hopenhagen imperative is strong and growing. People are riled and connected, a clean economy is emerging, the costs of fossil fuel dependence are growing unbearable, and the climate disaster bears down on us. The drivers will only grow stronger until we do something much, much different. On we go."

guanaman 80s (dkoolmix 2009)

EDITED/UPDATED ON DEC 30: I was just informed that "certain content in your blog is alleged to infringe upon the copyrights of others." So, I am pulling this mix out of this site. I'm still listening this mix at home, in my car, and will be playing it to certain private crowd unless they tell me which song is so darn "sensitive" !!!

mix play v04 (mixed by dkool)

Mix Play V04 by Dkoolmix on Mixcloud

Remix of 80s and 90s music. Yes, those rock, R&B and pop tunes now sounding more house and a few with very heavy bass and drum makeover. This set is not for the faint-hearted 80s and 90s souls because you may be "hurt" (some of these songs are really deeply cut and may not sound like the originals). I chose these remixes quite carefully and I thought the set flows well. Built for the heavy-nodding serious modern house followers.

Tracklist:
1. Bon Jovi - It's My Life 2009 (Alex Dubing Tribal Mix)
2. Matt Samuels - Enjoy The Silence (feat. For The Masses - Workidz Remix)
3. Chen i-zen vs. Idit Halevy - I Just Died In Your Arms (Exended Mix)
4. Danny S - Keep Me Hanging On (Klaas Remix)
5. Deadmau5 - California Love (Zoltan Kontes Remix)
6. Christopher S - The Rhythm Of The Night (Mike Candy's Revenge Remix)
7. Fast Foot - Eye Of The Tiger (Club Remix 2009)
8. Aquagen - Hard To Say I'm Sorry 2009 (Dany Wild & Gino Montesano Remix)

10. Aurora - Ordinary World (Above & Beyond Remix)
